Our little man has had quite the day! First of all, he went to bed last night at 7:30 and he's NEVER gone to bed that early. He woke up this morning his happy self. I always know he's ready to get up when I hear him talking. So, this morning, I hear the usual, "dadada" and I head to his room. When I get there, he greets me with his smiling blue eyes and a pacifier in his mouth, sideways. He wasn't sucking on it, but chewing on it. He thought it was pretty funny and was giggling.
A soda exploded in the fridge during Keaton's nap so Zach began to clean out the fridge. Of course, in the midst of the fridge mess, Keaton wakes up. I let Keaton crawl around on the floor, because what's more fun than exploring the contents of the fridge when your ten months old??? He makes is way over to a box of Pepsi and we're watching him like a hawk because he is on the tile floor. We noticed that he had his knee up with his foot flat on the ground. We wait and watch. Before I could blink, he pulled himself to his feet! On the tile floor no less!
He REFUSED to take an afternoon nap. He was crying and just not the happy boy he normally is. We were watching him play and Zach starts making this weird face and he looks at me and asks, "Do you hear that?" I had no idea what he was talking about, so I got closer. Sure enough, I heard he noise. Keaton's top teeth had broken through his gums and he's griding his bottom and top teeth together. While that is exciting he got his top teeth, the griding noise is not a fun sound.
The best news of the day...KEATON HAS BEEN DISCHARGED FROM SPEECH!!!!!!!!
